2002-2022 Distinguished Americans Series B

Great Americans, Prominent Americans, Famous Americans -- USPS is running out of adjectives for grouping together new series of definitive stamps portraying individuals who have contributed to the founding, defense, growth and improvement of our country. In fact, there are now two separate series described as "Distinguished Americans." This web page illustrates plate number singles of the ongoing second Distinguished Americans series. Scott Catalog numbers are assigned as the stamps are issued, such that they appear with commemoratives, holiday stamps and other definitives issued each year.

Stamps of the first Distinguished Americans series were issued from 2002-09. Scott Catalog numbers were assigned in a block that was set aside and adjusted as new stamps were issued. They can be viewed here.
